Committee to Review and Revise “Caring For A Soft-Coated Wheaten Terrier” club publication
This committee will review the publication “Caring For A Soft-Coated Wheaten Terrier” for revisions and changes; to update this guide for new puppy owners.
If you are interested in working on this committee, please email Peggy Gale at email@example.com.
The Health Committee will explore health issues that are associated with our breed in an attempt to provide the membership timely information.
The committee will also look at ways to encourage or help breeders understand and abide by the SCWTAC’s Breeders Code of Ethics. Members may wish to breed their Wheaten but for one reason or another do not have a mentor to help guide and direct them.
The SCWTAC has an opportunity to do good for our wonderful breed. Each year members have generously given donations to the SCWTAC. The SCWTAC is now in a position to lend support to worthy Wheaten causes.
Some Directors have reached out to Canadian Veterinary Colleges to find pertinent information in this regard. We would like other suggestions in ways the SCWTAC can help our breed.
If members have suggestions where the SCWTAC’s support could be used, please inform the Committee. You can join the Committee by emailing Sylvia Hamilton at firstname.lastname@example.org and copy Jeff Vallance at email@example.com.
Breeders List Committee
The Breeders List Committee will be working on a review of the guidelines for the SCWTAC Breeders List, proposing guidelines for the Stud Dog Registry and other website postings, and compliance for Breeders with the updated Code of Ethics. The recommendations of the committee will be presented to the Board for discussion and approval.
